A 13-calorie bedtime hot chocolate from WelleCo, blending magnesium, natural vitamin C from acerola cherry and niacin with cocoa, cacao, chamomile, lemon balm, passionflower, lavender and shiitake mushroom.
Part of Elle Macpherson's own nightly routine, The Evening Elixir is designed to be stirred into warm water or milk an hour before bed: a rich, chocolatey cup that is naturally sweetened with stevia and carries just 0.3g of naturally occurring sugar per serve.
Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Niacin contributes to the maintenance of normal skin. Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function and to the normal functioning of the nervous system.
Easily dissolvable, 30 serves per jar. Vegan, gluten free, dairy free and soy free, with no added gluten, egg, soy, dairy, lactose or nuts. Contains a small amount of naturally occurring caffeine (3–14mg per serve) from the cocoa and cacao.
Best for: adults who want a low-calorie chocolate treat before bed. Not suitable for anyone under 15, or while pregnant or breastfeeding.
Mix 2 teaspoons (5g) with 200ml of warm water or milk of your choice. WelleCo recommends taking The Evening Elixir at night, about an hour before bedtime, or whenever you want to relax and unwind. One serving per day. Do not microwave or mix with boiling liquid; it is also delicious cold over ice. Adult use only and not suitable for anyone under 15. Not recommended while pregnant or breastfeeding because of the botanical extracts; consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, planning to become pregnant or taking any prescribed medication. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, do not use if the lid seal is missing or broken, and keep out of reach of children.
