Herbal bathing has been part of Chinese medicine for centuries, and mugwort (艾叶) has been central to the practice. In TCM it is prized for its warming nature and used to move Qi and calm the senses. Soak away the stress of the day and unwind tired muscles – in a full bath, or as a foot soak if you don't have a tub.
Each box contains eight 30 g pouches. The herbs stay inside the pouch, so there is minimal contact with the bath surface; the water turns a warm, herbal tone and any light discolouration rinses away easily. Not recommended for pregnancy.
Best for: a slow, warming treat at the end of a long day, for tired bodies and busy minds – and anyone who wants to bring a foot-soak ritual into their evening.
In the bath: add 1–2 pouches to a full bath and relax in the warm water for up to 30 minutes. As a foot soak: soak 1 pouch in a bowl of water heated to around 37°C and bathe your feet for approximately 30 minutes. Each pouch is designed for one-time use. The herbs are contained within the pouch; rinse the bath with water after use and any light discolouration will clear easily. Not recommended for pregnancy.
