Body brushing is done on dry skin. Working in slow circles and always heading towards the heart, BUFF sweeps away dead surface skin – a small, physical ritual that, repeated over time, leaves the body feeling smoother and softer. The bristles are deliberately gentle, so it suits everyday use rather than the occasional scrub.
The brand's advice is that there is no single correct technique: get to know your own contours, settle on a pressure that feels good, and spend a moment on the areas that normally go unnoticed. Pair it with SMOOTH Body Oil afterwards for the full brush-then-oil ritual.

Brush on dry skin before your bath or shower. Begin at the ankles and move upwards using light, circular movements, keeping every stroke directed towards the heart; five to ten strokes per area with gentle pressure is plenty. Give a little extra attention to the body's hinges – the backs of the knees, inner thighs, inner elbows and underarms – and keep the touch light. Care: wash the bristles now and then with a mild soap and warm water, rinse, and leave to air-dry bristles-down. Never submerge the wooden handle; brush loose debris off the bristles with your hand or a dry towel instead.
